The message is a disgraceful hoax perpetrated by that most disgusting of Facebook users, the "like-whore". Liking, sharing or commenting on the message will do nothing whatsoever to help the pictured child, who died in 2010. The hoax is created solely to promote a particular Facebook Page and help it garner large numbers of likes. If you see this message, report it to Facebook. Do not like, share or comment on the message.

This Facebook post claims that you can help a severely injured 9-year-old girl depicted in an attached image just by liking, sharing or commenting on the message and the image it contains.
According to the message, the girl was taken from near her home by three men, raped, and beaten and then abandoned. The message claims, that due to internal injuries and blood loss, the child needs an expensive operation that her mother cannot afford. Therefore, claims the message, "all Facebook companies" have agreed to donate 20 cents to help the child each and every time her picture is shared, liked or commented on.
However, the claims in the message are disgraceful lies designed to further the goals of the despicable people who created the story. These so called like-whores launch such hoaxes as a means of gathering more likes for their Facebook Pages and further promoting their material via shares and comments. The story is made up and liking, sharing or commenting will do nothing whatsoever to help the child.
Sadly, the young girl in the picture is now beyond help. The picture depicts the brutalized body of Nazia Masih
, a 12-year-old Pakistani maid. Nazia died in 2010 after unexplained injuries she received while working in the house of her wealthy employer. The case went to trial, but the alleged perpetrators were later acquitted
. Nazia's story is desperately sad and it therefore defies belief that some contemptible swine would so wilfully use her picture for no other reason than to gather likes for a pathetic Facebook Page.
Keep in mind that whoever created this hoax was so morally bankrupt that he or she was willing to steal a picture of a dead child, invent a story to go with the picture, and launch it on Facebook just to gather extra likes.
Unfortunately, this is just one in an ongoing series
of similar sick child hoaxes
that have plagued Facebook in recent years. Some who create such hoaxes apparently do so simply out of a sick and twisted desire to see how many likes and shares their disgraceful lies can muster. Others are motivated by greed. Facebook Pages with large numbers of likes can be sold on the black market to other unscrupulous Internet marketers and/or used to peddle products and services and launch further spam and scam campaigns.
The immoral individuals who create such hoaxes are beneath contempt. These people have no place on our social networks or within any decent community. Sharing such hoax messages is immoral and irresponsible. And since they do absolutely zero to help the pictured children, sharing these messages is utterly pointless as well. If one of these hoaxes comes your way, please report it to Facebook. Please do NOT comment on the photo or the wall where the photo has been posted, as this gives the hoax more unwarranted exposure by putting the offending photo on to the news feeds of your Facebook friends.
You can also help by making sure that your Facebook friends are aware of such hoaxes and do not perpetrate the problem by liking and sharing them.
