WINTER SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY SCAM

The WINTER SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY scam email shown below claims that the recipient has won money in an international lottery. The email is an attempt to initiate a dialogue with potential victims and subsequently trick them into sending money to the scammers responsible. There is no "WINTER SWEEPSTAKES LOTTERY" and no prize money.

We are pleased to inform you of the announcement today 21th DECEMBER 2004 of your selection as one of the five winners of the promotional Golden Strike Sweepstakes Lottery FRANCE held recently as part of our END OF YEAR BONANZA.
